About this brand

Royal Philips of the Netherlands is a diversified technology company, […]

The Philips air humidifier offers a three-stage advanced evaporation system with NanoCloud technology.

Stage 1: the absorbent filter on the humidifier catches big particles such as human/pet hair and dust when drawing in the dry air.

Stage 2: the advanced evaporation system with NanoCloud technology humidifies the air by adding water molecules to the air and does not carry bacteria or scale.

Stage 3: healthy air gets blown out of the humidifier at a constant speed, delivering comfortable, healthy humid air without formation of water mist in your home.

Philips NanoCloud is a unique humidification technology that maintains comfortable moisture levels in the home using a natural process that does not use artificial additives.

Using natural evaporation – a proven hygienically safe humidification method – NanoCloud humidifies the air in the room by generating tiny water molecules of clarified water that are invisible to the eye. Due to its miniscule volume, this invisible water vapor evenly humidifies air, and is proven to minimize the risk of bacteria, white dust and wet floors – all common problems with ultrasonic humidification technologies.

Furthermore, as a natural process NanoCloud does not involve the ions, chemicals and ozone released by other technologies. Air humidified by NanoCloud is comfortable and refreshing to breathe, because it is designed to reduce the irritation and ailments caused by dry, contaminated or over-humidified air.

Sensitive Choice recommends that relative humidity levels be kept below 60%.
