Proudly manufactured in Australia, Bekaert Deslee fabrics are produced without the use of harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, a harmful and toxic ingredient used in many blind fabrics currently in the market. The importance of choosing a product that is made without formaldehyde is crucial to creating a healthier home, and it is particularly important for those looking to renovate or do home improvements.

Bekaert Deslee’s Sensitive Choice approved fabrics are also treated and certified by the Health Guard Corporation Pty Ltd to be anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-dust mite which are critical in providing a healthy environment for optimal respiratory health.

These blind fabrics are anti-static, which means the fabrics do not collect dust on the surface which again is a common cause of allergy and asthma symptoms. All Bekaert Deslee Blind fabrics are certified by AWTA Product Testing to be anti-static.
