Bathroom

Mould is the key asthma and allergy trigger to look out for in the bathroom. Once you have tackled any visible mould, help stop it coming back by ensuring good ventilation and sealing any leaks.

Cleaning can be a problem for people with asthma and allergies, so look for household cleaning products with fewer harsh chemicals and no fragrances.

Some cosmetics and skin care products contain chemicals, fragrances and preservatives that can be a problem for sensitive people. There are gentler health and personal care products available.

Triggers

If you aren’t sure what your triggers are, our handy guide can help point you in the right direction.
