Gyprock® Sensitive plasterboard
Sensitive is part of Gyprock’s special purpose range of residential plasterboards and ideal for use throughout the homes of people with asthma and allergy.
Gyprock Sensitive plasterboard’s core is treated with a powerful but gentle anti-fungal agent, which penetrates through the paper liner and paint coating. The core contains a wax emulsion to make it highly resistant to moisture and humidity without compromising integrity. It is also classified as low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as it emits fewer chemicals than the acceptable Australian standard.
With low water absorption characteristics, Gyprock Sensitive plasterboard is also also ideal as a lining in wet areas of residential or commercial buildings.
Gyprock Sensitive is accredited by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), Australia’s only independent, not-for-profit, multi-sector ecolabelling program. GECA accreditation allows consumer to identify products that have a lower impact on the environment and human health and address important social considerations.
Gyprock began plasterboard production in 1947 and now offers a wide range of standard, specialty and environmental plasterboards for all commercial and residential building needs.
Gyprock is the exclusive Sensitive Choice partner for plasterboard.
